10.09.2014 Reduced natural gas supplies from countries east of Poland

Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA reports that it has observed a reduction in natural gas supplies provided under the Yamal Contract at the interconnection points in Drozdovitse (Ukraine), Kondratki (Belarus) and Vysokoye (Belarus) relative to volumes ordered by the Company.

On September 8th 2014, natural gas deliveries from countries east of Poland were reduced by approximately 20% and on September 9th 2014 by approximately 24% relative to volumes ordered from OOO Gazprom Export. The reasons behind the reduced gas deliveries are being investigated, in particular to determine whether they are of technical or commercial nature.

The delivery shortfall has been covered with natural gas supplies from other entry points to the Polish transmission system.

We would like to emphasise that deliveries to PGNiG SA's customers are continuing uninterrupted. At the moment, there is no need to withdraw gas from underground storage facilities, which have been filled to capacity before the winter season.
