GB Petroleum Plc was established in May 2005 andis an international company specialising in exploration and productionfrom oil and gas fields. The company operates in Europe and NorthAfrica. The agreement singed on May 17 contemplates joint activities inrespect of exploration and production of hydrocarbons from fields inlicenses held by both companies. For PGNiG, this presents anopportunity of making use of the licenses of GB Petroleum Plc inTunisia and Morocco. In addition, both companies expressed theirintention to establish long-term cooperation based on exchange ofknowledge and experience.
