15.06.2007 PGNiG representatives continue talks in Pakistan

On 15 June, President of PGNiG Krzysztof G?ogowski met inIslamabad with Mr Ahmed Waqar, Minister for Petroleum & NaturalResources of Pakistan. The discussion concerned the conditions forcurrent and future activity of the PGNiG Group in the Pakistani market.

The PGNiG delegation also met with Arshad Nasar, President of Oil &Gas Development Company Ltd. (ODCEL), the largest Pakistani oil and gascompany. The talks dealt with cooperation possibilities between the twocompanies in such countries as Yemen, Oman, Libya and Egypt.
 
Next,the PGNiG representatives talked to Moohammadian Soomro, the Speaker ofthe Pakistani Senate. The meeting was initiated by Wies?aw Kucharek,Charge d'Affaires of the Polish Embassy in Islamabad. Legal conditionsfor the PGNiG Group’s activity in Pakistan were discussed as well asthe opportunities for cooperation between PGNiG and ODCEL, both inPakistan and other foreign markets.
