28.11.2013 PGNiG appoints Polish members of EuRoPol Gaz Management Board

On November 28th 2013 PGNiG SA, acting in line with the procedure defined in the Articles of Association of EuRoPol Gaz SA, appointed Mr Kazimierz Nowak as President and Mr Tomasz Flis as Second Vice-President of the Management Board of EuRoPol Gaz SA.

Mr Kazimierz Nowak holds a degree in civil engineering from the Rzeszów University of Technology. In 2004 completed an MBA programme run by the GFKM of Gdańsk and the Gdańsk University in parthership with the Rotterdam School of Management. Head of the Warsaw Branch of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa Sp. z o.o. since July 2013. In 2002-2013 served on the Management Board of Mazowiecka Spółka Gazownictwa Sp. z o.o., a gas distribution company, including as its President from July 2007 to June 2013. In 1999-2002 Head of the Development and Investment Division at the PGNiG Head Office in Warsaw. In 1991-1999 held various specialist positions at registered companies in the construction sector. In 1971-1993 served as Manager of the Mining Works Division at Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Wiertniczych i Górniczych of Warsaw, a drilling operator.
Mr Tomasz Flis  holds an MSc degree from the Rzeszów University of Technology. Chief Executive Officer at the Warsaw Branch of PGE Dystrybucja SA since 2013. In 2010-2013 served as Chief Executive Officer at the Lublin Branch of PGE Dystrybucja SA. In 2008-2010 served as President of the Management Board of PGE Energia SA. In 2001-2008 held the position of Vice-President of the Management Board of Przedsiębiorstwo Instalacji Przemysłowych INSTAL-LUBLIN S.A., a listed company. In 1998-1999 served as Deputy Governor of the Province Zamość, and in 1999-2001 - Deputy Governor of the Province of Lublin.  Earlier, in 1986-1998, held various executive and engineering positions in registered companies and state-owned enterprises.
