Compliance in PGNiG Group

Within the structure of PGNiG S.A. there is a specialised Compliance Unit responsible for compliance management.

The Compliance Unit is in charge of coordinating the compliance policy in PGNiG S.A. It also manages the fields of ethics and prevention of corruption, fraud and other abuses.

Additionally, Ethics and Compliance Coordinators have been appointed in companies forming the PGNiG Group. Their main responsibility is the management of the field of ethics in their companies. They cooperate with the Compliance Unit in PGNiG S.A. and the Ethics Officer of the PGNiG Group.

Code of Ethics

We invite you to study the Code of Ethics of PGNiG Group, which includes our mission statement and values, and establishes rules of conduct for all employees.

In PGNiG Group we are guided by our key values, which are:

The Code of Ethics of PGNiG Group has been adopted by the PGNiG S.A. Board Resolution in May 2019 and it is in force both in PGNiG S.A. and its subsidiary companies.

Ethics Officer of the PGNiG Group

Jan Anysz has been appointed the Ethics Officer of the PGNiG Group. The Ethics Officer, together with the Compliance Unit, promotes ethical conduct and monitors the compliance with the Code of Ethics by receiving and assessing employee notifications about breaches of ethics rules. The Ethics Officer also cooperates with the Ethics Committee of the PGNiG Group and Ethics and Compliance Coordinators of the subsidiary companies.

Jan Anysz has been active in the gas industry since 1970. He has been the employee representative in Employee Boards, Supervisory Boards, and a Member of the Board of Directors of PGNiG S.A. elected by the employees. Many years of experience in handling employee matters is key in helping fulfil his tasks as the Ethics Officer of the PGNiG Group.
 

Anti-corruption policy

PGNiG Group has an Anti-Corruption and Fraud Prevention Policy in force.

The aim of the Policy is to establish obligations of PGNiG and its employees and associates relating to obeying rules and preventing corrupt practices and frauds, as well as providing information and guidelines in respect to identification of corruption and setting up control mechanisms aimed at prevention against such practices in PGNiG Group companies.

The PGNiG Group Anti-Corruption and Fraud Prevention Policy also establishes guidelines concerning acceptance and offering of gifts by the employees and associates of the PGNiG Group companies.
