PGNiG withdraws from process of purchasing polish assets of Fortum Group

Further to Current Report No. 61/2021 of November 16th 2020 concerning submission Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A. (“PGNiG”) of a preliminary non-binding offer to purchase polish assets of Fortum Group („Transaction”), the Management Board of PGNiG informs that on December 21st 2021 PGNiG submitted a notice of withdrawal from the Transaction and cooperation with PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. for the purposes of this transaction process.
