20.10.2021 Polish delegation meets with NOC in Tripoli
On October 20, 2021 representatives of PGNiG Upstream North Africa BV, Libya Branch (PUNA) and the Polish Embassy met in Tripoli with members of the Management Board of the National Oil Corporation (NOC).
The Polish side was represented during the meeting by Mrs. Justyna Porazińska, Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Republic of Poland to Libya, Mr. Szymon Drzewakowski, General Manager of the Libya Branch, Ibrahim Sherif, Deputy Manager of the Libya Branch and others. The NOC was represented by Mr. Mustafa Sanalla, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Abulgasem Shengheer, Member of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Elamari M. Elamari, Member of the Board of Directors.
Participants of the meeting discussed the possibilities of cooperation between Poland and Libya in the oil and gas sector, and the conditions for the resumption of exploration works in the PUNA's Contract Area 113 in the south-west part of Libya based on the Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement (EPSA)
