05.12.2022 The annual meeting of the Technical Committee
In continuation of the annual technical meetings held between the National Oil Corporation and the participating foreign companies, the NOC’s Exploration Department held, on Monday morning, 5 December 2022 at NOC headquarters in Tripoli, a technical meeting with officials of the PGNiG Upstream North Africa Company (PUNA).
During the meeting, the discussions were held on Company's completed projects in the exploration and reconnaissance program of the year 2022 and the proposed project for the year 2023.
The Company also reviewed the seismic survey programs, exploratory drilling, geological and geophysical studies,
and discussed the case of Force Majeure and exploration activities in Libya.
The meeting was attended on the NOC’s side by the Director of the Exploration Department, Mr. Abdelmonem Battikh and more than 20 specialists and technicians from the Exploration Department. At NOC headquarters, PGNiG Company was represented by Deputy Manager of the Libya Branch, Mr. Ibrahim Sherif, Operations Geologist, Mr. Othman Ben Saeed, and through the closed circuit, the Company's General Manager, Mr. Szymon Drzewakowski, Exploration Manager from OGiE PGNiG (PKN ORLEN), Mrs. Anna Baszkiewicz and a number of other specialists from PGNiG OGiE - PKN ORLEN and PUNA.
