Decision of the PGNiG Supervisory Board concerning Vice-President of the Management Board for Exploration & Production
At its meeting held on April 2nd 2013, the Supervisory Board of PGNiG SA decided to repeal the resolution of February 27th 2013 appointing Mr Krzysztof Bocian as Vice-President of the Management Board for Exploration & Production, and to close the recruitment process without selecting any successful candidate.

LMG, Poland's largest oil and gas extraction facility, starts production
Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (PGNiG) made final acceptance of the Lubiatów-Międzychód-Grotów facility (LMG), one of the largest and most advanced projects completed by the Company in recent years. The project will increase Poland's conventional oil and gas production.

PGNiG Group reports PLN 2.2bn plus in 2012 net profit
The PGNiG Group has recorded net profit of PLN 2.23bn for 2012, compared with PLN 1.75bn in the previous year. In Q4 2012, the Group's net profit grew to PLN 2.2bn, from PLN 431m in the corresponding period of 2011.

PGNiG and PKN ORLEN continue to explore for oil in the Wielkopolska region
Exploratory drilling is about to begin near the town of Sieraków within the bounds of the geological Niecka Szczecińska basin. The exploration is being conducted with a view to gathering geological data to confirm whether oil accumulations are present in the area. The project is being implemented jointly by PGNiG and PKN ORLEN.

Vice-Presidents of Management Board appointed by Supervisory Board
On February 27th 2013, following a competitive recruitment process, the Supervisory Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA resolved to appoint Mr Krzysztof Bocian as Vice-President of the Management Board for Exploration & Production, and Mr Jacek Murawski as Vice-President of the Management Board, Chief Financial Officer. In the process the Supervisory Board was assisted by Amrop, a specialist senior staff recruitment consultancy.

Recruitment of PGNiG Management Board members about to start
The PGNiG Supervisory Board is about to launch competitive recruitment processes to fill vacancies on the Company's Management Board. The positions to be filled include Vice-President for Finance and Vice-President for Exploration and Production. A specialist senior staff recruitment consultancy will assist the Supervisory Board in the selection process.

Sławomir Hinc appointed President (CEO) of PGNiG Norway AS
As previously announced, PGNiG SA intends to consolidate its exploration and production operations on international markets. PGNiG Norway AS is to play a key role in the process under the new leadership of Dr Sławomir Hinc, Vice-President of the PGNiG Management Board responsible for finance and investment and also current member of the Board of Directors at PGNiG Norway AS.

PGNIG starts production in Norway
The Skarv oil & gas field on the Norwegian Continental Shelf successfully started production on 31 December 2012. PGNiG holds a share of 11.92 % in the BP-operated field. Therefore PGNiG became the first Polish company with substantial gas and oil production from an international project. This is also PGNiG's first major offshore development.
