Election Called to Elect Candidate for Management Board Member and Candidates for Supervisory Board Members Representing the Company's Employees

The Management Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA ("PGNiG", the "Company") hereby reports that at a meeting of December 28th 2010 the Supervisory Board of PGNiG, acting pursuant to Par. 26.8 and Par. 37.4 of the Company’s Articles of Association, adopted a resolution to call an election of a candidate for member of PGNiG's Management Board and candidates for members of PGNiG's Supervisory Board representing the Company's employees.
The election procedure is scheduled to commence on January 4th 2011.
The reason for holding the election is that the term of office of the Management Board member elected by the Company's employees expires on March 12th 2011, while the terms of office of the Supervisory Board members elected by the Company's employees expire on April 30th 2011.
