Execution of an Agreement between PGNiG S.A. and PGNiG Norway AS Concerning Assignment of all Rights and Obligations under the Agreement for the Acquisition of Interests in Licenses for Operations on the Norwegian Continental ShelfCurrent Report No. 83/2007 dated October 19th 2007The Management Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A. (“PGNiG") reports that on October 19th 2007 an agreement was concluded by PGNiG and PGNiG Norway AS (“PGNiG Norway") to assign all the rights and obligations (“the Agreement") under the agreement for the acquisition of interests in PL212, PL212B and PL262 licenses for operations on the Norwegian continental shelf, concluded on February 28th 2007 by PGNiG as the buyer and Mobil Development Norway A/S and ExxonMobil Production Norway Inc. (“ExxonMobil") as the sellers.The Agreement will take effect as of October 30th 2007, i.e. on the date of closing of the acquisition of the interests in PL212, PL212B and PL262 licences.The core business of PGNiG Norway includes in particular production of crude oil and natural gas and other activities of a similar nature, as well any other activities related to the production of crude oil and natural gas.
