The Extraordinary General Meeting of PGNiG appointed Mr Jarosław Wojtowicz to the Supervisory Board of PGNiGCurrent Report No. 74/2006 dated 26 October 2006The Management Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A. (“PGNiG") hereby announces that, at a meeting held on 26 October 2006, the Extraordinary General Meeting of PGNiG appointed Mr Jarosław Wojtowicz to the Supervisory Board of PGNiG.Mr Jarosław Wojtowicz – a graduate of the Land Melioration and Environmental Engineering Faculty at Warsaw Agricultural University, and National School of Public Administration. Since January 2002 he has served as Deputy Director at the Budget and Finances Department at the Ministry of State Treasury. Earlier, he held the position of Deputy Director of the Administration and Budget Department at the Ministry. He has a wealth of experience as a member of supervisory bodies (Zarząd Portu Gdańsk S.A., Cukrownia LEŚMERZ S.A., Cukrownia MALBORK S.A., IBIS Szubin Sp. z o.o., WUKOM Wschowa Sp. z o.o., WZT ELEMIS S.A., and recently Polska Agencja Prasowa S.A. and Nafta Polska S.A.). He took part in numerous training programmes.The newly-appointed member of the Supervisory Board does not conduct any other competitive activity outside of the Issuer’s business, nor is he partner in any competitive civil law or any other partnership. He is not a member of any governing bodies of a competitive company, nor is he disclosed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept pursuant to the Act on the National Court Register.
