Change Concerning Production of Crude OilCurrent Report No. 71/2006 of October 10th 2006The Management Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A. (“PGNiG”) hereby reports that owing to a delay caused by circumstances beyond PGNIG’s control, that is the protest lodged by a bidder excluded from the tender procedure, and the resultant invalidation of the tender procedure by the court due to formal reasons, the launch of the crude oil and natural gas mine Lubiatów – Międzychód – Grotów will be postponed until 2010.In connection with the above, the declared oil production volume of approx. 1.1 million tonnes annually will be achieved in 2010.Pursuant to the Management Board’s decision a new tender procedure was initiated to select the General Contractor.(see Current Report No. 22/2006 of April 20th 2006)
