Closing of the selection procedure aimed at appointing members of the Management Board of PGNiG S.A.Current Report No. 142/2005 dated 21 December 2005The Management Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo Spółka Akcyjna (“PGNiG”, the “Company”) hereby announces that at a meeting held today, the Supervisory Board of PGNiG, acting pursuant to paragraph 7 of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance dated 18 March 2003 on the Selection Procedure Aimed at Appointing Members of the Management Board of Certain Corporations, decided to close the selection procedure without appointing any candidates as Management Board members. The selection procedure had been initiated under resolutions of the Supervisory Board adopted on 29 November 2005.At the same time, the Supervisory Board of PGNiG decided that a new selection procedure will be initiated in accordance with paragraph 4 of the above-mentioned Regulation. The Company will announce any new information thereon as it becomes available.(See Current Report No. 133/2005 dated 29 November 2005)
