05.01.2012 Resignation of the Chairman of the PGNiG Supervisory Board

On January 5th 2012, Prof. Stanisław Rychlicki, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PGNiG S.A., tendered his resignation from the position for important personal reasons. The resignation will come into effect on January 10th 2012.

Prof. Rychlicki was appointed by PGNiG S.A.'s General Shareholders Meeting as Chairman of the Company's Supervisory Board on February 15th 2008. In April 2011, he was re-appointed for the third term of office, which started on May 5th 2011.

"I am convinced that the PGNiG Group's development strategy will secure the Company's strong and stable market position, both at home and abroad, and in the long run will be conducive to the development of a major energy conglomerate in Europe, with solid operational foundations," said Prof. Rychlicki upon his resignation.
