The completion was held for the second timeby the Accounting and Tax Institute. This year, 32 companies made it to thefinals with the total of 50 companies taking part in the initiative.

Theunderlying idea of the competition is to promote annual reports prepared inaccordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards and bestpractice.

When presenting the awards to the winners, Ludwik Sobolewski, the PresidentWarsaw Stock Exchange, remarked that The Best Annual Report competition is verysignificant as it demonstrates how the companies care about their shareholders.

Among the awarded reports there were also those of PKN Orlen and KGHM PolskaMiedź.
