14.11.2014 INFORMATION OF PGNIG SA AND GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. ON GAS SUPPLY TO POLAND
Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (PGNiG SA) and Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. inform that gas was supplied to Poland from the East in the period from 31 October 2014 to 14 November 2014 in a stable manner without prejudice to the safe operation of the Polish transmission system. All final gas recipients in Poland receive gas they demand.
At entry points at the eastern border, PGNiG SA does not receive full gas quantities ordered from the Russian supplier under the binding agreement.
Demand for natural gas in recent two weeks has dropped to approximately 38 million m3/day on the average. System is balanced with import supplies, domestic output and underground gas warehouses in accordance with their yearly plans. At present, the gas warehouses contain approximately 2.63 billion m3.
If the situation of gas supply to Poland changes, another press release will be published. If the situation does not change, the companies will publish the summary of gas supply to Poland on 28 November 2014.
