02.03.2009 Change in natural gas extraction forecast
Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA announces that its 2009 natural gas extraction forecast was decreased from approximately 4.6 billion m3 to approximately 4.3 billion m3.
The new natural gas extraction forecast is the result of the slightly decreased demand for nitrogen-rich gas announced by some industrial clients obtaining gas directly from gas deposits. In addition, the decreased forecast was influenced by the shifting of investment plans pertaining to the development of natural gas deposits as well as problems of a geological nature in currently mined deposits.
The natural gas extraction forecast for 2010 is 4.3 billion m3.
