27.08.2012 Agreement concerning Voluntary Termination Programme for employees of PGNiG SA

The two-day meeting between representatives of the PGNiG Management Board and PGNiG SA's Union Coordination Commission, devoted to issues relating to the process of PGNiG's reorganisation, ended on August 24th 2012 with the Parties signing of an Agreement concerning the adoption of a draft Voluntary Termination Programme for Employees of PGNiG SA.

It was agreed that on August 28th 2012 the negotiated Programme would be debated by the PGNiG Management Board, which will then adopt a relevant resolution.

The meeting between representatives of the PGNiG Management Board and PGNiG SA's Union Coordination Commission concluded on Friday August 24th marked the third stage of the negotiations, preceded by a review of other agreements relating, among other things, to the organisation of the PGNiG Group, so as to ensure that the agreed documents take into account the interests of all Employees and Investors.

The reorganisation process started at the PGNiG Head Office in May 2012.  September 1st 2012 will be the effective date of the changed structure of the Gas Trading Divisions, as well as the Production Branches.

The changes are aimed to transform the PGNiG Group into a modern and innovative organisation, whose market success will be the factor of the commitment and competences of its Employees, translating into their personal satisfaction.

In the following week, representatives of the trade unions active at PGNiG SA and the Union Coordination Commission will meet with the Management Board and the Directors of the PGNiG Branches and Divisions.

Continuing the social dialogue in line with the mutually agreed programme, in the nearest future the Company's Management Board will maintain a dialogue with the trade unions to work out new agreements as part of the commenced review of the existing agreements in place at the PGNiG Group.
