“Digital Field” will boost the efficiency of oil and gas production

PGNiG's statement concerning the decision of the governments of Poland and Lithuania
Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA welcomes the decisions of the Governments of the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Lithuania announced on 27th and 28th of February 2019. The governments of both countries decided to join PGNiG SA in the court proceedings initiated by the Company with an action against the decision of the European Commission on a commitment agreement between the European Commission and Gazprom concluding the proceedings on the alleged abuse of dominance of Gazprom on the markets of eight European Union countries (case AT.39816).

PGNiG and PGG start cooperation within the Geo-Metan project
Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo and Polska Grupa Górnicza have signed an agreement on pre-mining capture of methane from hard coal seams. The works will be carried out at the site of Ruda Ruch Bielszowice Coal Mine.

The Management Board of PGNiG welcomed the decision to grant approval for the construction of the Calcasieu Pass LNG terminal
In 2018, PGNiG – Polish Oil and Gas Company signed two long-term contracts with Venture Global LNG for the purchase of liquefied natural gas. One of them relates to receiving cargoes of LNG from the terminal at Calcasieu Pass in Louisiana, which is due to start operations in 2022. On 21st of February 2019, the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has issued the Order Granting Authorizations for Venture Global Calcasieu Pass LNG export facility and associated gas pipelines leading to future export installations.

Polish Oil and Gas Company and the Startup Hub Poland Foundation have invited international startups that offer innovative solutions for the energy industry. Eight startups participated in the inauguration of the Poland Prize program at PGNiG.

Eleventh LNG spot delivery
The methane carrier Flex Rainbow transports about 64 thousand tonnes of liquefied natural gas from Sabine Pass, USA. The cargo was purchased as part of a spot transaction. This is the fifth delivery this year so far – three came from the US and two from Qatar.

PGNiG and Startup Hub Poland Foundation invite international startups to Poland
Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) and Startup Hub Poland Foundation joined forces to transfer the most innovative business ideas to Poland. Selected early-stage technological entities will have a chance to receive a grant from the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP). Current recruitment process for the project ends on February 28th.

Four-thousandth tank truck loaded with liquefied gas from PGNiG left the Świonujście terminal
PGNiG strengthens its position in the small-scale LNG market, with almost 18% more liquefied gas dispatched by the Company from Świnoujście last year than in 2017.

Fiftieth LNG cargo arriving to Poland
On Sunday, January 27th 2019, PGNiG Polish Oil and Gas Company will receive another load of liquefied natural gas. It will be the 50th delivery to the President Lech Kaczyński LNG Terminal in Świnoujście. Thus the total LNG volume purchased so far by PGNiG will amount to approximately 5.7 bcm after regasification.

PGNiG: activity in Iran ended in October 2018
In connection with media speculation, PGNiG informs that it ceased its activities in the Soumar field in the Islamic Republic of Iran at the end of October 2018, due to the risks arising from reintroducing by the USA sanctions for activity in the Iranian energy sector which took place on November 4, 2018.
