The Ostrobramska Bus Depot in Warsaw has received its first delivery of liquefied natural gas under a contract signed between PGNiG Obrót Detaliczny and the municipal bus company Miejske Zakłady Autobusowe of Warsaw on April 17th 2019 for the supply of LNG for 35 environmentally friendly natural gas-powered buses.
The US Department of Energy approved the export of LNG from Port Arthur LNG to non-FTA countries. The liquefaction and export facility is scheduled for launch in 2023. Cargoes of liquefied natural gas exported from this terminal will be received, among others, by PGNiG.
The Management Board of PGNiG SA welcomed the approval of the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for the construction of the Port Arthur liquefaction terminal in Jefferson County, Texas, on the Gulf of Mexico, which is due to start operating in 2023.

Liquefied natural gas will come to Poland from Norway on March 21, 2019. This is the twelfth spot delivery to the President Lech Kaczyński LNG Terminal in Świnoujście since the facility started its operations.
PGNiG and LOTOS conducted two commercial bunkerings of liquefied natural gas (LNG) between 13th and 18th of March 2019. These are the first operations of this kind carried out at seaports in Gdańsk and Gdynia. The companies continue their cooperation in this area – it will strengthen the competitiveness of Polish ports and popularize the LNG's ecological fuel in the Baltic Sea.
