Power Generation

PGNiG Group in the Generation segment is involved in the generation, distribution and sale of heat and electricity. This activity is conducted by the PGNiG Termika company, which serves as the PGNiG Group’s competence center for heat and electricity generation and implementation of heat and power projects.

PGNiG Group, implementing of one its core strategic priorities, namely the development of the Generation segment, continues to initiate new, large- and small-scale projects related to increasing the capacity based on gas technology.

Basic activity of the segment comprises heat and electricity generation. The segment is engaged also in carrying out large power energy undertakings in which natural gas is used as fuel, i.e. the construction of a gas power and heating plant in Stalowa Wola, a project implemented in cooperation with Tauron Polska Energia S.A. and Elektrownia Stalowa Wola S.A.
