New opportunities for PGNiG Group in Pakistan
A PGNiG delegation led by President Krzysztof G?ogowski is currently visiting Pakistan and discussing new opportunities to strengthen the Group’s presence in the Pakistani market. The occasion for the visit is marked by the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of the Pakistani operations of the local Branch of PGNiG and the Oil and Gas Exploration Company, Kraków (PNiG Krakow).

PGNiG wins the bid for Bahariya exploration concession in Egypt
On 11 June, PGNiG SA was informed that the bid submitted by theCompany for exploration on Bahariya 3 Block in Egypt was accepted byEgyptian General Petroleum Company. It was the first bidding round forexploration concessions in Egypt PGNiG in which submitted its bid.

PGNiG becomes member of the Executive Committee of Baltic Gas
On 22 May, the General Assembly of Baltic Gas elected PolishOil and Gas Company as member of the Executive Committee of theorganisation. The election was made during a meeting of twoorganisations – Baltic Gas and BASREC in Warsaw. The organisationsgather, respectively, gas companies of the Baltic Sea region andrepresentatives of the authorities of the Baltic countries. PGNiG washosting their joint meeting for the first time.

Opening of CNG refuelling station in Lublin
On 15 May 2007, another refuelling station for compressednatural gas (CNG) was opened for use. The station is located at Al.Tysiaclecia 8 in Lublin. The new CNG station is the twenty third publicCNG refuelling station in Poland and the seventh one built by KarpackaSpó?ka Gazownictwa Sp. z o.o. (KSG), a subsidiary company of Polish Oiland Gas Company (PGNiG).

Management of PGNiG decides to repay the Company’s debt
On 8 May, the Management Board of Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) adopted a resolution on reduction of the indebtedness of the Company through repayment of the EUR 600 million term loan facility from the Company’s own funds. These are different funds than the proceeds raised by the Company from the issue of the B Series shares.

Position of the Management Board of PGNiG SA concerning pay demands and profit appropriation for the year 2006
The Management Board of PGNiG SA informs that similarly as inthe year 2006, it has been consistently following the guidelines of thesalary increase policy. Consequently, the Management has proposed thatthe salary adjustment index for the employees of Polish Oil and GasCompany be set at 3.4 per cent, as compared to the forecasted inflationrate at the level of 1.9 per cent.

Gas prices remain unchanged – extension of the Gas tariff validity
On 16 March 2007, the President of the Energy Regulatory Agency(ERA) published, in the ERA Gas Industry Bulletin, the decision onextension of the current Tariff, which was approved on 14 March 2007.The validity term of the current Gas Tariff of PGNiG SA has beenextended for further six months, i.e. by 30 September 2007.
