Delegation of the member of the Supervisory Board to act as a member of the Management Board of PGNiG SA
Current Report No. 93/2015Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA ("PGNiG") hereby reports that on December 11th 2015 the Supervisory Board decided to delegate Mr Piotr Woźniak, a member of the Supervisory Board, to act as President of the Management Board from December 11th 2015 until March 11th 2016.
Mr Piotr Woźniak, MSc in geology, graduated from the University of Warsaw in 1980. Lecturer at the Geological Institute in Warsaw till 1989. In 1989-1991 served as an adviser to the Minister of Agriculture and to the Minister of Industry. Trade Commissioner of the Republic of Poland in Canada (1992-1996). Adviser to the Prime Minister on infrastructure (1998-2000). Member of the Supervisory Board of Polish Oil and Gas Co. (PGNiG S.A.) from 1999, than Vice- President (2000-2002). Alderman at Warsaw City Council (2002-2006). Minister of Economic Affairs of Poland (2005-2007). In 2011-2013 Undersecretary of State in the Ministry for Environment and Chief National Geologist. Lecturer at Lazarski University and at Warsaw School of Economics, member of the Council of the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education, Warsaw. Since December 2009 the Chair and since March 2014 the Vice-Chair of the Administrative Board of the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER).
Mr Piotr Woźniak has stated that he is not engaged in any activities competitive to PGNiG’s business, he is not partner in any competitive civil-law partnership or another type of partnership, or member of the governing bodies of any company competitive to PGNiG, and is not entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained under the National Court Register Act.
