Information on the project “Development of PGNiG SA Human Capital”

The training project “Development of PGNiG SA Human Capital” co-financed from the European Social Fund under the Operational Programme Human Capital.

Project implementation period: December 1, 2009 – November 11, 2011
Grant amount: PLN 2,507,087.33


Project objective:

The project’s objective is to enable PGNiG SA employees to improve their qualifications and develop their interpersonal skills necessary in the workplace.

The following persons were invited to participate in the project:

  • employees of Gas Trading Branches aged over 45 seeking to develop e-learning skills;
  • employees of PGNiG S.A. Head Office seeking to overcome their competence gaps and improve their personal skills;
  • managers of PGNiG S.A. Head Office and Gas Trading Branches as well as individuals being prepared for executive positions, wanting to improve their managerial competence, personal skills and industry know-how.

Project implementation:
The range of training courses under the project for each target group covers the following:

1) “Age Management” training:

About 12 executives, i.e. Directors and their Deputies at Gas Trading Branches were invited to participate in the training, which was dedicated to the analysis of the concept of development and use of the potential of employees aged 45+.

2) “Introduction to e-learning” trainings:

Employees of Gas Trading Branches aged 45 or more were invited to participate in the training. The project provided for 6-hour training, the purpose of which was to teach 300 employees of Gas Trading Branches aged 45 or more how to learn using the e-learning method. We also provided individual consulting support in this respect for all training participants. Following the training, the consultant helped the participants use and strengthen the skills gained during the course. The training was held on 25 dates in groups of approx. 12 persons.

3) “Specialist’s Academy” trainings:

1. Employees of PGNiG S.A. Head Office seeking to overcome their competence gaps and improve their personal skills were invited to participate in this training. As part of the project implementation, 4 two-day training modules are held that are to improve comprehensive knowledge and skills of 180 employees of PGNiG SA Head Office.

4) “Manager’s Academy” trainings:

Managers of PGNiG S.A. Head Office and Gas Trading Branches as well as individuals being prepared for executive positions, seeking to improve their managerial competences, personal skills and gas trading know-how, were invited to participate in the training. The project involves 4 two-day training modules that are to improve comprehensive knowledge and skills of 180 employees of PGNiG SA Head Office and Gas Trading Branches.
