The conference was first held in 2009 as a platform for the exchange of experiences and opinions between energy sector companies, representatives of local government and NGOs, as well as all those interested in sustainable development. Previous editions have
confirmed that there is a strong interest in sustainable development and issues of Corporate Social Responsibility. The theme of this year's conference is ‘Transformation – How to manage change responsibly'. It is our hope that the debate will facilitate a broader perspective on transformation – something that touches many aspects of everyday corporate life, as well as the lives of individuals. Within the debate, we would like to discuss change from a purely business standpoint, as well as the personal and psychological perspective, as this plays an equally crucial role in managing a modern business.
Several representatives of the business community (including the CEOs of leading energy companies), government administration, science, and NGOs have all been invited to participate in the fifth edition of the conference, including Mr Janusz Piechociński, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy; Mr Włodzimierz Karpiński, Minister of the State Treasury; Mr Michał Boni, Minister of Administration and Digitization; Mr Piotr Woźniak, Under Secretary of State and Deputy Minister of the Environment; Mr Mariusz Grendowicz, CEO of Polskie Inwestycje Rozwojowe; Professor Jerzy Bralczyk; Mr Edwin Bendyk, and Mr Wojciech Eichelberger. Explorer and businessman Marek Kamiński will also be giving an inspiring speech during the conference.
